Up to nine Maestro Companion Switches can be linked to a Maestro Multi-location Dimmer Switch allowing you to remotely control lighting or a fan from almost any room in your home. Maestro Companion Switches can not be used individually as they do not control a load and must be used along with a Maestro Multi-location Dimmer Switch typically in place of your 3-way and 4-way switches. The Companion Switch features a clean flush stylish appearance. Coordinate using Lutron Claro Wallplates (sold separately).

Maestro dimmers contain an Advanced Programming Mode [APM] to allow the user to customize their control to meet their specific needs. From this mode the user can set "on" Fade time "off" fade time or a locked/unlocked preset. The locked/unlocked allows the user to set the dimmer to either always turn on to the same level or to have it return to the level previously used.
