The 2GIG BATT2X is an optional extra capacity backup battery for the 2GIG Go!Control alarm control panel. It replaces the standard BATT1X and is sold separately. Any secured premise looking to stay within the confines of UL985 fire warning system listing will be required to install this battery. It is a 7.2V 2600mAh Ni-MH battery pack that offers up to 24 hours of backup power for the Go!Control alarm panel after AC power is lost.

This battery is designed solely for the CP21-345 aka Go!Control 2, not the GC3. Currently there is no extended capacity battery backup for the GC3. The included backup battery for the GC3 offers up to 8 hours of run time without AC power.
