Enjoy 2.1-channel audio and wireless connectivity with your favorite speaker system and the Denon DRA-800H 2.1-Channel Network A/V Receiver. It has Bluetooth Wi-Fi and Apple AirPlay 2 built-in for wirelessly connecting with your compatible smart devices. Additionally the onboard network connectivity allows the receiver to be voice-controlled through your Amazon Alexa Google Assistant Siri or Josh.ai ecosystem or via the HEOS app.
The DRA-800H outputs up to 100W per channel at 8 Ohms and features five HDMI inputs and one output all of which support 4K HDR and 4:4:4 color; the output also supports ARC. A USB port on the front provides direct device connectivity and audio playback.
Featuring a discrete high-current power amplifier symmetrical design and an OFC (oxygen-free copper) winding power transformer the DRA-800H is designed to deliver up to 100 watts per channel at 8 ohms. For compatibility with a variety of speakers the receiver is equipped with low-impedance drive capability. An optional auto ECO mode helps reduce power consumption without sacrificing audio quality.
The receiver features an AKM 32-bit D/A converter that can decode up to 24-bit / 192 kHz ALAC FLAC and WAV lossless files as well as DSD 2.8 MHz and 5.6 MHz tracks via the front USB port and network sources. You can also listen to other popular formats like MP3 and WMA.
You can connect two pairs of speakers for A/B switching. You can also extend your system to a second room and listen to a different source via the Zone 2 pre-out.
The onboard phono input lets you connect your turntable directly to the receiver.
The DRA-800H uses an eight-channel DAC to deliver enhanced stereo imaging and detail. By assigning two DACs per channel including the subwoofer output the receivers dynamic range and signal-to-noise ratio are augmented.
All five HDMI inputs support 4:4:4 Pure Color sub-sampling BT.2020 pass-through HDR10 and HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma); full 4K Ultra HD with 60 Hz pass-through 3D and HDCP 2.3 compatibility is available on all five HDMI ports to support copy-protected content. Additionally the HDMI output supports ARC so audio that originates in apps built into your display are passed through to the receiver through the connected compatible HDMI cable.
With built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity the DRA-800H is equipped with a dual-antenna transceiver system for robust streaming even in congested urban environments allowing you to enjoy listening to your favorite audio content wirelessly from your compatible smart devices.
The Denon AVR Remote app for iOS and Android allows you to adjust the receivers volume turn it on or off mute the music and select a source.
Control the receiver with your compatible smart TV remote via the HDMI CEC functionality associated with your smart TV. Simply set "HDMI Control" to "On" in the receiver then set "Smart Menu" to "On" and begin controlling the receiver with your TV remote. The Smart Menu home screen provides you quick access to source and surround mode selections the receivers setup menu and four Quick Selects.
ALLM helps ensure that Xbox One users have a responsive and immersive gaming experience when connected with compatible TVs.
The front panel features four Quick Select buttons that store your preferred audio settings for each source. Switch between TV audio Blu-ray media players and more – and the receiver adjusts the EQ settings to your preferences for that media source. Use the buttons on the front panel or opt for the same Quick Selects on the remote for faster control.

The DRA-800H features external control and IP control capabilities for easy customization and compatibility with third-party integration solutions including Control4 SDDP (Simple Device Discovery Protocol). An IR remote control jack is on the rear panel for wired remote compatibility with other components in your system. Remote monitoring is also supported for troubleshooting.
